Americans | Aaron Patton's The Americans Portrait Project

Wichita photographer Aaron Patton presents his ongoing portrait project, The Americans, and offers visitors the opportunity to share their stories and be photographed.

Presented in conjunction with our exhibit Americans, on view from November 22, 2025 – January 3, 2026.

Americans is based on the exhibition of the same name currently on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI).

This Smithsonian Institution traveling exhibition is presented by Humanities Kansas​.
